WhatsApp message format that can be sent outside the 24-hour window — must be pre-approved by Meta.

Templates fall into 3 categories: marketing (promotions, new products), utility (order confirmation, appointment reminder) and authentication (OTP, verification codes). Utility/authentication see 90%+ approval; marketing is reviewed strictly. Submission flows through BSP; approval takes a few hours to 2 days.
