MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead)
Marketing-qualified — interest exists but not sales-ready yet.
An MQL has shown specific engagement in your marketing funnel: subscribed to blog, downloaded a white paper, attended a webinar. Not ready for a sales call; needs to be matured through a nurture sequence. Typical SaaS B2B MQL → SQL conversion is 20-30%.
